RAPHAEL-MARY NNAMDI ORAEGBU is the founder and president of Children of Love, the Catholic organization – a visionary, called by God to promote the joyous celebration of the Sacrificed Love of God, through proclaiming to the whole world the Festival of the Holy Story, narrated as the Story of God and His children; and, also, the pursuit of the devotion to Jesus of the Easter splendour, in union with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen and Mother.

He was born on June 26, 1955, in the city of Kano, in northern Nigeria, into a Roman Catholic family, whose home town is Ibusa, in the southern part of the African country. He studied politics at the university. And after graduation, he lectured as a polytechnic, before branching out into full-time journalism, working as special correspondent, newspaper editor, columnist and television presenter.

He has lived in and travelled throughout many parts of Nigeria; and also, has visited places outside of the country, including Europe. But, beyond all the useful knowledge that he had gained about the affairs of the world, is the joy of the gift of love-centred spirituality, that has drawn him closer to Jesus, the Lord and Saviour, through the grace of God and the ever-powerful prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary – and as, he is a member of two other religious societies in the Church, namely, Legion of Mary and the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts.

He is the author of many books. These include, The Story Divine, The Cross Ordained, The Drama Divine, The God of Love, and The African Story of the Night. He is married to Malechi, who has been a very loving wife; and they have three children-Nnamdi, Chukwuebuka and Tobechukwu.
